The "Johannes Th. Eschen-Preis" by the Deutsche Musiktherapeutische Gesellschaft for excellent master theses was awarded to the muscial therapist and sociologist Anita Neudorfer, who is part of the IGS with a PhD-project on "Zur Heilkraft von Gesang. Rezente Gesangsbewegungen aus resonanztheoretischer Perspektive". She received the prize for her master thesis "Zwischen Therapie und Ökonomie. Zur Beziehung von Musiktherapie und dem Verein „Singende Krankenhäuser e.V." For further information and the press release see here.
